YOFC Inaugurates New Manufacturing Facility in Jalisco, Mexico
Yangtze Optical Fibre and Cable Joint Stock Limited Company (YOFC), a leading global supplier of optical fiber and cables, has officially opened its new manufacturing facility in Lagos de Moreno, Jalisco, Mexico.
The 19,515 square meter factory represents a USD 19 million investment in serving Mexico’s telecommunications industry with high-quality optical fiber products. The facility is expected to create over 200 jobs within the next two years.
This marks YOFC’s first manufacturing presence in Mexico and a significant step in its global expansion strategy. Previously established sales offices in Mexico will be complemented by the Lagos de Moreno factory, which will primarily target the domestic market. YOFC also aims to leverage this base to reach the broader North and Latin American regions, solidifying its global leadership position.
