The long-awaited Amado Nervo Bridge project is moving forward as Nayarit Governor Miguel Ángel Navarro Quintero announced that bidding will begin this month. This major infrastructure development will strengthen the connection between Bahía de Banderas and Puerto Vallarta, spanning the towns of San Vicente and Ixtapa. Previously known as the Federation Bridge, the project was officially renamed the Amado Nervo Bridge on December 28, 2024, during President Claudia Sheinbaum’s visit.
