Legendary Mexican Surfers Host Surf Camp in Punta Mita
The 2018 Punta Mita Surf Camp is set to take place from August 8-12 and will be hosted by Punta Mita Ocean Sports. Three legendary Mexican surfers Coco Nogales, Diego Cadena and Fernando Stalla will be instructors at the camp for learning how to master the waves. The camp is perfect for all skill levels and includes much more than just riding the waves.
A variety of learning the ways of the water will be conducted like Rescue FIT, Surf Sessions by Boat, Two Surf Training, and FOIL Surf Lessons.
Visitors will take to the waves and be videoed with different types of surf sessions held during the morning. Afterward, they will review their video and receive one on one advice to perfect their skills.
Teaching techniques will be held in the afternoons and highlighted by each of the three surfers.
The importance of water safety along with learning the basics of jet ski safety and skills will be taught by Coco Nogales.
Learn the importance of controlling your heart rate and breath holding and APNEA basics used in spearfishing which will be conducted by Diego Cadena. Afterward, you and the crew will participate in a spearfishing excursion.
Fernando Stalla known as the Waterman Legend will teach team work on Hawaiian Outrigger canoe basics along with its influence in today’s modern water sports.
An Awards Dinner will be hosted on the final night along with fun activities through the camp.
Participants at the surf camp are available with or without accommodations.
