Highway Between La Cruz – Punta de Mita Now Open

The Governor of the State of Nayarit, Roberto Sandoval Castaneda has announced the new four line highway of 7.2 kilometers (5.5 miles) between La Cruz de Huanacaxtle and Punta de Mita officially opened in time for the start of Easter week vacations in the Riviera Nayarit.  The highway has all the benefits of an expressway without a toll and with four lanes has shorten travel time and increased the safety factor for drivers.
