American Airlines to Offer Four DFW-PVR Flights Daily This Winter to Puerto Vallarta
Travelers will have new warm-weather destination choices as American Airlines announces its winter 2023 flights for the Caribbean and Latin America. With the addition of two new routes and increased frequencies on 21 existing routes, American Airlines increases its nonstop flights between the U.S. and Mexico, the Caribbean, and Latin America.
José A. Freig, Vice President of Operations and Commercial for Mexico, the Caribbean, and Latin America, emphasized American Airlines’ commitment to maintaining its status as the largest U.S. airline in the region, providing more flights and seats to a greater number of destinations than any other carrier or partnership.
An extensive list of increased frequencies as of December 9th, details that from the Dallas Fort Worth International Airport American Airlines will fly to seven destinations, increasing flight frequencies with more than 50 daily departures to Mexico. This will be America’s largest-ever winter travel schedule south of the border.
This is good news for Texans traveling to Puerto Vallarta and the Riviera Nayarit, as service from the Dallas Fort Worth International Airport to Vallarta’s Licenciado Gustavo Díaz Ordaz International Airport will increase to four daily flights.
Likewise, the airline will increase service from DFW to Acapulco to three weekly flights, Huatulco to four flights a week, Monterrey and Los Cabos to five flights a day, and Zacatecas and Zihuatanejo to daily service.
The carrier will also increase frequencies on 10 routes from its hub at the Charlotte Douglas International Airport, such as to Belize, Curaçao, Liberia, Los Cabos, Puerto Plata, and St. Croix on a daily basis. Four daily frequencies to Montego Bay, Punta Cana, and San Juan, and five daily flights to Cancun.
The schedule is set to be American Airlines’ most extensive Latin America and Caribbean operation in history, growing its capacity by 10%. https://banderasnews.com/
