This successful event, the eighth such effort under Mayor Luis Munguía’s leadership, saw enthusiastic volunteers, city council members, and municipal workers collaborate to remove debris and safeguard the coastal environment.
Starting early in the morning, the energetic team, including Mayor Munguía and Councilor Christian Omar Bravo Carbajal, president of the Free, Clean, and Certified Beaches Commission, worked diligently for over two hours.
Their efforts resulted in the collection of discarded plastic bags, Styrofoam cups, and straws. Councilor Bravo Carbajal emphasized the importance of community responsibility, urging everyone to protect the beaches by properly disposing of their trash and preventing it from polluting the ocean.
